Slavíček, Radek ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on explaining of basics of electromagnetism and principles of resonant circuits. These solutions are used for design the indicator opposite position. The next step of document is solution by using magnetic field for design of transmitter and receiver antennas for electronics devices. The final products are solved as the best way for the design. Development process is described step by step in individual chapters.
Calculation of optimum slip frequency of induction motor for minimisation of its losses
Bednařík, Václav ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on the minimisation of losses by calculation of optimum slip frequency of induction motor. The next point of this master‘s thesis is supersaturation. Supersaturation must be solved for the size of losses, because of the effect that is cause of the losses, when current increases with saturation. However current is not increase proportionally with increasing saturation, but increases several times more. This problem is included in the calculation of the slip frequency. Optimum of slip frequency is solve for modified gamma model of induction machine. In the main point of this thesis is outlined the process, how the optimum can be found. With same process were already were found the equations, but they were too extensit. In the end is solved the optimum of slip frequency be minimum of the flux density.
Passive sensors for detecting instantaneous stress and strain values
Jašek, Petr ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Technical measurements are an indispensable source of information in the technical fields. Due to the computer processing it is necessary an electrical signal as the output of the sensor. The field of measuring techniques of non-electrical quantities comprises a wide range of various sensors. Passive sensors represent an important group, into which resistive, inductive, capacitive, magnetic and ionization sensors are arranged. Basic findings of measurement are presented, and particular kinds of sensors, their functional principles, application examples and evaluation of their properties are described in the thesis.
Dynamic simulation of DC motor using FEM
Gottwald, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with a specific dynamic model of DC motor with the parameters obtained from the calculation and from the program using the finite element method. It shows how much accurate results can be achieved in the model, if you use only the values which can be measured, recorded and calculated on the engine. This thesis contens three parts. First part describes the structure and function of DC motor and the basic principle and the use of FEM. Next is calculation analytical and numerical parameters. The search parameters include torque, resistance and inductance of armature winding, resistance and inductance of excitation windings. The last part is dedicated to creating a dynamic model. Results from the dynamic model and measured values are compared in the conclusion of my thesis.
Current transducer's characteristics
Čížek, Ondřej ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis are described all used current transducers, the way of their function and at each of them are described their properties. After that is described program LabVIEW and measurement, which happened by using it with specialization on frequency characteristics and their evaluation.
Stabilized operation of a 400 kV power line
Girga, Eduard ; Špaček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
Electrical wiring 400 kV is the most used transfer wiring in the Czech Republic with length over three thousand kilometers. It is frequently used for running out significant output from the big power plants and for its significance in electrical engineering. Theoretical part of this thesis deals with the cross-section of mainly used methods for high and extra high stable wiring voltage solution. These methods can be generally dividend into precise and rough. Both of these methods will be analyzed in next chapters. Exact solution comes out from the presumption of equally spaced parameters. The rough solution uses substitution of double gates wiring, this method is accurate enough and accelerates the calculation. Former mentioned reasons explains it’s often use in technical practice. The electric line is substituted by T-cell, II-cell or Steinmetz cell according to length and required precision. Special method of rough solution is the broad method which enables to solve randomly knotted network by using II-cell to replace electric wiring between single knots. This method is mentioned in thesis for completeness; the network solved by me is not knotted. Part of the theoretical thesis is the analysis of specific transfer cases. In computing part will be mentioned not only the computation of stable wiring state with precise an rough method - with all former mentioned cell but the computation of specific transfer cases as well. In the end will be concluded all the counts from computing part and from precision view evaluated used methods of the stable wiring solution.
Inductive Sensors
Šimberský, Michal ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with inductive sensors. The thesis introduced the history of sensors, their advantages and disadvantages over other types of sensors. There are described different types of inductive sensors. Each type of sensor is described in terms of physical principles. In thesis there are listed examples of using different types of practice. Preparation was constructed to demonstration the characteristics and differences between eddy currents sensors and inductive oscillator sensors.
Quantification of measurement uncertainty using Monte Carlo
Mareš, Jaroslav ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on evaluation of standard uncertanities of measurement by method GUM and Monte Carlo and theirs comparation. In first part of this thesis is made the theoretical analysis of evaluation of measurement uncertanities and proposal of methodology for evaluating uncertainties by Monte Carlo method. In the second part is described direct and indirect measuring of resistance, capacitance and inductance, including evaluation of standard uncertanities of those measurings by GUM and Monte Carlo methods. In the end of this thesis is made comparison of achieved results of spoken methods.
Utilization of local systems for power system regulation
Kostov, Jiří ; Geschwinder, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s Thesis deals general information about methods of regulation of elektrification systems, including basic principles of regulation of frequency, regulation of voltage and regulation of reactive and active power. Work includes information about aggregate remote control system, power plants that participate on regulation and self device for regulation and controlling of reactive power. Measurement of calibration inductance parameters
Martišek, Jiří ; Fialka, Jiří (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of measuring the properties of coils and their inductance dependence on frequency under the influence of an external magnetic field. The theoretical analysis of the properties, parameters and behaviour of the coils is included. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the measurement methods and instruments for measuring coils and their parameters. The third chapter is devoted to the Caliber program from Meatest, s.r.o., which can be used to automate both calibration and measurement. The practical part describes the selection of the coil measurement method, the selection of the tested commercial coils and the creation of the procedure in the Caliber program. The rest of the thesis describes the measurement procedure, processing of the measured values and evaluation of the measured results.
